about meon music

At Meon Music I provide lessons, live music for events and other services including recording, composing, arranging and accompanying.I am based in the Village of Swanmore situated just off the A32 in the Meon Valley in the middle of Winchester, Portsmouth and Southampton. For more detailed information please watch the short film below. It was made during Covid so those sections are out of date. 

about me

My name is Dafydd (most people call me Daf). I have been a teacher, performer, composer and musical director for over 25 years, both privately and in colleges and universities. I studied music at the University of York.

 

I have taught mostly Popular Music, Jazz and Musical Theatre but am comfortable with all musical styles. The best place to see the range of what I do and to hear me play and perform is to watch the film (below). You can also hear the variety of performance and composition work I do on my Live Music Site 

I have a fully up to date DRB certificate.
